Ino Samaras will discuss how startups can make the most of their digital assets to improve their marketing performance.

It’s much easier to promote and sell a product when you know a bit about your customer. But, where do young startups get that kind of information about their current or future client base?

As a founder, you likely have some details about your customers if they’ve used your product: name, email address, location and maybe age. When it comes to getting more specific data – data that you can use to tailor your future marketing – it’s helpful and cost-effective to leverage your digital assets: your website, your social accounts, and more. Ino Samaras helps founders unlock the data that those digital assets can offer to learn more about their customers.

After nearly a decade of experience in data analytics and data-informed marketing, Ino Samaras founded Databee, in 2021. At Databee, Ino and her team build affordable data-driven marketing solutions for startups to discover growth opportunities as early as possible and build a strong case for their next round of fundraising. Databee is a perfect fit for a young company that’s launching a product or introducing a product to a new market.

On Feb. 23, Ino will host a webinar for Founders Network members where she’ll discuss how startups can make the most of their digital assets to learn more about their customers and improve their marketing performance. Two key areas of focus will be missed opportunities to test a hypothesis about the customer, and micro-surveys as a creative solution for getting to know the customer.

In her webinar, Ino will help founders answer the following questions:

  • What is the target market?
  • What pricing is optimal?
  • What product features are most in demand that should be part of my MVP?
  • How are customers interacting with my product or service?
  • Where is my solution falling short?
  • What messaging should be promoted in an engaging ad?

About the speaker:

Ino Samaras has a degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, followed by 7+ years of leadership experience in business intelligence and CIA (Culture, Insights, Analytics). She is an expert in identifying practical growth opportunities for D2C, B2C, and B2B companies, especially as it regards reaching and engaging the right audience. Prior to founding Databee, Ino was working at L’Oréal in New York as the Lead of CRM Analytics and at Initiative, a global media agency, as the Director of Analytics.

Ino is the co-founder of Databee Consulting. Databee functions as a fractional CMO for startups of all stages to help them scale their businesses with data-driven marketing. Thanks to multiple collaborations with innovative marketing and data science partners, Databee brings to startups the comprehensive resources of an agency, but also the devotion of a CMO.

Testimonials

If you don't have a cohort group in something like Founders Network that you can develop long-term relationships with and discuss the same topics that come up with people that you already know, you're probably missing out on something very important.

David Plonsky

The number one advantage is the law of compound interest. The longer you stay in a very high-quality network the strong and more authentic relationships you build.

Chaitanya Vaidya

We know each other's business and we know each other's struggles. Having a personal relationship with other founders that is completely confidential and completely authentic gives you a lot of great advice.

Doug Lessing

FN manages my network for me by connecting me with other founders in my specific industry sector. I've been able to explore business development opportunities, partnerships, etc.

Becky Splitt

We just saw the first Mexican unicorn come to life this same week which is a fantastic idea. Being part of the Founders Network makes a lot of sense. We see that the Mexico City chapter is growing substantially.

Max Linares

There's a lot of great stuff going on even now in San Francisco. I've found Founders Network has been a great resource for me and for all of the founders I know during these tough times.

Jarie Bolander

It allowed me to meet people who had done this before that had the experience. I was able to explain an issue very briefly and they were able to give me a very detailed response on how they addressed it.

Terence Finn

I've used the platform to discover advice, connections, resources, discounts, on important services, connections to investors, and practice on how to pitch. The kind of conversations you can't get anywhere else on youtube or google searches.

Alexandra Greenhill

I see Founders Network as one of those necessary resources in the Chicagoland area.

Jason Jacobsohn

The Black Founders initiative allows me to shape this program where we can inspire, engage, and support Black Founders.
